Mayor's Message

Coronation town council, staff and various commissions, boards and volunteer committees are working diligently to provide residents and future generations an outstanding quality of life.  Our municipality is proud of our citizens and the way they demonstrate their willingness to invest in the future of their community.  Coronation is tied to together through family values and a sincere sense of community.  Our community offers numerous amenities including a regional hospital, schools, numerous recreational facilities, parks, churches as well as a library, seniors centre, restaurants, banks, shopping, and accommodations.  With this small town atmosphere, it is no wonder so many people are looking at Coronation as a safe place in which to raise a family or retire.

The Town of Coronation is celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2011.  The Coronation Centennial Committee is planning a special weekend July 29th to August 1st, 2011, this promises to be one of the most vibrant events ever held.  We encourage you to explore their website www.chc2011.ca to learn more about the exciting details of festivities planned for our centennial birthday and homecoming.
